Update...finally!

Hey there friends! Sorry it's taken sooooo long for Ellie and I to get back online. Mommy takes her computer with her all the time to that work place so we don't get a chance to use it very much!

Let's see...so much to update everyone on. Where do we start...well since November a lot has happened! Some good, some not so good. But, we'll start with the good...

Dec 07--We went home for Christmas and had a great time with our aunt & uncle cousins Dally & Zeb as well as our cousins Chance, Harrison, Trotsky, & Jackson. Mommy enjoyed spending time with Aunty Marian, Uncle Brian, little Ian, and baby Dylan. Granmommy and Bob enjoyed all of us being there for Christmas. Granmommy was awful cranky though cause she slipped on some ice in the driveway a few days before we got there and broke her rib. She yelled at mommy and Auntie Marian for leaving a cookie sheet out in the snow...Mommy was trying to get the 'burned cookie' smell out of the house so that Granmommy wouldn't have to smell that after getting back from the doctor. Guess Mommy got in trouble anyway!

March 08--Mommy flew to New Mexico to see Auntie Marian and the boys. They all left the next day to drive the 6 hours to Colorado to surprise Granmommy for her 60th birthday. Mommy said that the 6 hour trip turned into 8 hours with the two boys, Dally, and Zeb in the car! Mommy also said something about getting a speeding ticket...she said it was Auntie Marian's fault! Auntie Marian told Mommy to go 95 along that stretch of highway and that there were never any cops around...guess Auntie Marian was wrong that time!

Granmommy was really surprised to come back from her three week trip to the Galapagos, the Equator, and the Amazon to find the whole family waiting for her. She said it was her best birthday ever.

May 08--Mommy was really glad to be done with school for the semester. She said working at a partial in-patient hospital for children and adolescents was the worst experience ever! She decided to take the summer off after working, taking 10 credit hours of grad school, seeing clients at two different locations, and taking care of us pups...I don't think we are THAT much trouble!!

But, she threw us a Doggie Birthday Party that was a lot of fun! Fr. Stephen came over to Betty's house (where the party was) and said mass for us for Mother's Day-well, Me, Ellie, & our friend Ollie were locked in the kitchen during mass, but we barked and made lots of noise to be sure nobody forgot about us! We even got a special doggie blessing! Thanks Fr. Stephen!

Mommy's friend Kim made a Boston Terrier cake. And Kim's daughter Kalyn made us our very own doggie cake...it was good!!

June 08--Mommy and the whole entire family (minus all the dogs and cats) went on a 7-day cruise to the Caribbean. Mommy had a blast and wanted to be back there when she got home. Of course she missed us but she left us at Doggie Disneyland with her friend/classmate Stacy, her husband Steve, and their dogs Toby & Moe. We LOVE it over there!

July 08--Mommy took a kayaking class after kayaking on her cruise and loving it. She learned how to get in and out of the kayak, how to paddle, how to fall out of the boat and get back in (very important!), and how to rescue others that have fallen out and help them get back in. She really liked it. The next weekend Mommy and Tommy (her friend of 5 years and now currently her boyfriend) rented kayaks and went just down the street to kayak. They said it was a lot of fun. The next day they went out to Grapevine Lake and kayaked around the lake, had a picnic, and enjoyed the scenary.

Mommy dropped her digital camera in the water and decided it was time to go home! Little did she know that her life would be forever altered when she returned home...ut oh, we have to go. We'll have to finish the story later!

We hope everyone is well! Miss you and love you!

Love, Ellie & Cooper!!

July 08--This was the most eventful month of the year! Mommy
