Welcome friends and family!
Mommy doesn't know we are on her computer--she's taking a nap and she left us unattended. Silly Mommy, she still hasn't learned!
We are new to this whole blogging thing but it looked fun so we thought we'd give it a try :) We'll update y'all on the latest happenings whenever we can...
We aren't for sure on Mommy's schedule but we know she goes to this thing called work A LOT! On Monday nights she goes to Oak Cliff--sometimes called 'the ghetto', whatever that is, and she co-leads group counseling. We heard her talking about it just last night and she said that it wasn't as scary as she thought it was going to be. She said that the teens she works with are all referred to the program by their probation officers and they have issues with drugs and alcohol...
Anyway, on Tuesdays she does that work thing again and then likes to get caught up on The Bachelor--Brad better pick cute little Phoenix Suns Dancer Jenny! And, we usually snuggle with Mommy and watch Dancing with the Stars--we all like that show. We hope Jennie Garth and her partner Derek win! And we hope Helio and Julianne come in second! It was an injustice that Sabrina was voted off. Marie Osmond needs to go home!
We like Wednesdays cause Mommy comes home early. She usually gets home and takes a nap with us. It takes us a little while to settle down though so Mommy doesn't get as long of a nap as she would like! Then she goes up to a place called Denton for a thing called school. We've been up there a few times--we love to run around in the grass but we agree with Mommy that the drive up there sucks! We heard her say that she is in the Group Counseling clinical class this semester. She just registered for Spring classes and she's a little stressed out about taking three classes: Play Therapy 2 (that's silly, she doesn't need to take a class to learn how to play--we can teach her that!), Counseling Children & Adolescents, and her third clinical class Practicum. But, with classes, working full time, and seeing clients, she's going to be VERY busy! We aren't sure what clients are--we think they are the sad people that Mommy is going to be working with to try and help them be happy.Thursdays Mommy is at that work place all day again. She tries to spend as much time with us as she can. She comes home every single day to see us during her lunchtime. We really like that :)
Fridays she works some more and then it's the weekend! We LOVE the weekend cause we get to go to Doggie Daycare!!! Saturdays are always fun for us because we get to see all our friends at Pete & Macs Pet Resort. Mommy likes that we get LOTS of exercise and that we get to socialize and learn how to play well with others. She also likes that when we get home we are SOOOO sleepy!
Sundays are pretty relaxing at our house. Mommy goes to this place called church. We aren't allowed to go with her unless we are getting blessed by a priest or unless it's that special Pet Blessing Sunday. Other than that, she stays home and tries to clean the house. Sometimes we try and help her do laundry and dishes but when we try to get in the dryer and climb on the dishwasher she says that does NOT help her. We try!
And, for Christmas we are going to Colorado!!! We are already getting excited to see our aunt & uncle cousins Dally and Zeb. We'll have to show them how to blog too! Granmommy said that it will be Mommy and us puppies, Granmommy, Bob, Dally, Zeb, Marian, Brian, Ian, Dylan, Chance, and Harrison for Christmas again this year. We had all hoped that Mommy would be bringing a boyfriend home with her but we are still waiting!!! We are looking forward to running around in the backyard, playing with all the other dogs in the house, and maybe this year we'll be old enough to go sledding! :)
Ut oh, Mommy is waking up. We better go but whenever Mommy is away (and leaves her laptop at home) we will write and update y'all some more on what's going on in our world!
We hope you are well! Feel free to update us on what's going on in your life...we love to hear about new parks to go visit, what days you'll be at doggie daycare, and the coolest new toys out there on the market. We know Mommy is still looking for indestructible (whoa, that was hard to spell!) toys for us to play with!
All our love,
Ellie & Cooper
